Your Kids Matter to Us!

Serving families is incredibly important to us. Our kids ministry is a warm, fun environment for kids birth through 5th grade. The safety of your children is very important to us! All of our volunteers have had the appropriate background checks and training before they serve with children.

Nursery (Birth-3 years)

We know first impressions are important. Our nursery gives children their first look into how:

  • God Made Me

  • God Loves Me

  • Jesus wants to be my friend forever

These beliefs are taught every week by incorporating the lesson, music, crafts, and fun activities.  Our infant nursery, and toddler classes are designed for their specific phase of life. 

  • Infant nursery: Birth - 18 months

  • Young Toddler class: 19 months – through 2 years

  • Older Toddler class: 2 through 3 years

Preschool (4-5 years old)

Family is our number one priority at Sault Wesleyan. Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on these three simple truths:

  • God Made Me

  • God Loves Me

  • Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Our preschool class is for ages 4 through 5 years old. Our goal, every week, is to incite wonder in the life of a preschooler, whether it’s through a Bible story, singing, or small group and craft time.

Kids Connection (K-5th grade)

In “Kids Connection” we believe in relational ministry, as kids are introduced to small groups. Each small group is no more than ten kids.  During their small group time, kids participate in a lesson and worship, while establishing relationships with the same small group leader all month. Children are taught three concepts throughout their time in Kids Connection.

  • I need to make the wise choice.

  • I can trust God no matter what.

  • I should treat others the way I would want to be treated.
